I never really look at how far crop marks are offset. Honestly, this is the first time in my career that I've had a printer get so nitpicky about the crop mark placement, and I think they're making this requirement to circumvent the InDesign default of 0.0833 cutting into the bleed image - so it might not be a problem at all where it is (will see).īut, that said, I think it would be a really nice feature to have the offset be adjustable.
When I export with the 0.125" bleed, the crop marks are offset further out than 0.125", something like 0.135".
I'm not really finding this workaround to work for me? Maybe it works if you need to offset the marks out way farther than the image bleed (I can see how that would work), but what about butting up against the image bleed:įor a project I'm working on the printer wants 0.125" bleed, and the crop marks offset by 0.125".
